Maytex is looking for a highly-collaborative and ambitious Account Representative to join our expanding team in NYC. This person will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with retailers in the Home Textiles Industry. He/she will be focused on ensuring customer success but also looking for opportunities to broaden each accounts business. The right candidate will be a proactive problem solver who can quickly and efficiently establish, strengthen and grow accounts. We are looking for an individual who will focus on client success, strong sales skills, and a track record to back it up.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a quality sales pipeline and sales opportunities for specific accounts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Design, and Sales Directors to optimize every aspect of the product offering and identify and implement best practices.
  • Build and sustain great customer relationships.
Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous success in account sales
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Tremendous follow up skills
  • Minimum 3 years of wholesale experience
